bonfires burning bright (room in my coffin tonight) by hito (12,223 - Rated E)
Stiles may hate Halloween, but he loves working at the Haunted House — at least until the new girl steals his cushy job in the office. But she also introduces him to the guy he’s had a crush on for years, so he supposes she can’t be a total witch. That doesn’t mean Derek isn’t a vampire.
A Boy in Wolf’s Clothing by kyaticlikestea (5,226 - Rated T)
Stiles doesn’t really understand what’s going on any more because Derek is Derek and Stiles is Stiles and they’ve always been separate, even though they’re technically mated now, and he doesn’t know when they were expected to become ‘Derek and Stiles’ the unit. He doesn’t know when Derek wanted to become that, because even though Stiles is at college now and he’s grown out his buzz cut and started working out every Thursday, he’s still Stiles Stilinski, the kid who’s about as co-ordinated as a peace march in Israel, and Derek is still Derek Hale, he of the cheekbones and perpetual sex-hair and brooding looks.
Or, five times Stiles turns to the wolf for Halloween, and one time the wolf turns to him.
Just a Little Hocus Pocus by secondstar (16,837 - Rated E)
On All Hallow’s Eve when the moon is round, a virgin will summon us from under the ground.
Stiles lights the black flame candle, bringing three witches back from the dead who need his soul to survive the night.
Masque by JenNova (3,550 - Rated E)
Derek’s not sure he can remember what he was trying to achieve here.
“That’s not really a costume,” Stiles’ voice returns, curling into Derek’s ear. Derek suppresses a shiver.
“It’s a costume,” he says, shocked by how rough his voice sounds. He needs to get out of here.
Maybe I Just Think You Look Good in Red by YouShineBrighter (1,398 - Rated T)
Derek’s voice is firm when he inquires, “What the fuck are you supposed to be?”
"More like who," Stiles corrects, shrugging as he shifts a bit against the wall. He rolls one shoulder, movement more flippant than it has any right to be, and admits what Derek already knows. "I’m you, dumbass. The almighty alpha wolf of Beacon Hills."
Monster Mash series by Swing Set in December (5,880 - Rated G)
Whatever happened to the Transylvania twist?
Of New Homes and Old Memories by nightfog (6,825 - Rated M)
Stiles had always liked Halloween, ever since he’d been a child. He’d loved dressing up as Batman or Robin or Superman. After his mom died, it became his favorite day of the year, because according to various sources Halloween, or Samhain as the Celts called it, was when the barriers between this world and the next were at their thinnest.
It was the one day where portals opened up between our world and the world beyond and the souls of people long gone could slip through to visit their former homes and the loved ones left behind.
Red Riding Hood series by aohatsu (14,760 - Rated E)
Stiles hangs out with werewolves. Stiles dresses up as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. It’s supposed to be ironic.
sure to lure something bad by lazulisong (4,006 - Rated T)
Stiles has the best worst ideas, or so he thinks. Derek isn’t so sure about that.
Stiles dresses up as a werewolf, Derek dresses like Red Riding Hood, NOTHING ends in tears.
Teen Wolf’s Sunnydale Halloween by Onlymystory (6,003 - Rated T)
A spell from the Alpha pack turns everyone into their Halloween costumes. Stiles has bigger problems though, as Derek got hit with a de-aging spell at the same time. Stiles has to juggle a scenting toddler, traumatizing behavior from his horny pack members, a killer Alpha and an ongoing debate over the best baseball team. But in the middle of it, he learns a few secrets about Derek’s past and that he’s never been the weakest member of the pack. And by the end of the night, it might turn out to be a damn good Halloween after all.
and one bonus spooky fic:

“This is Laura Hale calling. I have you booked at Lake Hale from September 16th - 18th, party of 6. I can assure you that our groundskeeper is up to the task. Previous visitors have reviewed his performance as being “suitably creepy” and “watch him, I think he really is a murderer.” Scripts have been sent to the email addresses you provided. We recommend that you keep the details of your murder private, to ensure the impact the events have on the rest of your party. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I assure you, your friend won’t know what hit him. Metaphorically, of course. Welcome to Hale.”
